Log in
The access to the key operator, repro operator and system administrator modes
is password protected to allow only authorized personnel to use particular
functions.
You can enter these modes by selecting the ‘Login’ option from the ‘File
’
menu and by specifying the correct password when prompted for it.
Note:
You will have to perform the Login action in all four Océ 9600 programs
separately.
Logout
You can leave the key operator, repro operator and system administrator modes
by selecting the ‘Logout’ option from the ‘File’ menu. When you select
‘Logout’ you will return to anonymous user mode.
Note:
You will have to perform the Logout action in all four Océ 9600
programs separately.
To change the password
To avoid taking any security risks on the Océ 9600, you may want to change
your password on a regular basis. You can change the password for each user
mode (except anonymous user mode, for which no password is required) by
taking the following steps:

Change the password:

Open the ‘File’ menu, select ‘Log
in’
and click the
‘
Password’ button.

Select the appropriate username in the ‘Username
’
drop-down list box.

Enter the old password in the ‘Password’
text box.

Enter the new password in the ‘New password’
text box.
5
Confirm the new password by entering it in the ‘Confirm new password’
text
box and
click ‘OK’ to set the new password.
Note:
You will have to perform the Change password action in all four Océ
9600 programs separately.
