■
Jams, (see page 247).
■
Other problems, (see page 266).
When an error occurs, the display informs you about:
■
the type of problem
■
where it has occurred
■
how to solve it
Printing material is normally transported through the system without any
problem. However, printing material may get stuck. If this happens, a flashing
cover or door will be displayed on the graphic display, indicating in which part
of the system the material has been jammed.
Stickers on some parts of the system indicate which green handles, green
knobs, green bars and covers, etc. are to be lifted, pressed or opened to remove
any jammed printing material.
The display guides you through a sequence of steps to solve the problem. If a
jam occurs in more than one location, the display will continue to instruct you
until all jammed printing material has been removed.
Once the error has been cleared, the display will give you instructions on how
to continue the job in such a way that all prints are produced correctly.
