SHIFT LEVER / CABLE
Shift Lever Removal
1. Remove the shift knob cover

, retaining screw

and shift knob

from the shift lever

Remove the screws retaining the center console
using a T27 and T30 Torx driver. Remove the console
from the vehicle.
2. Remove the clip and washer retaining the shift cable
to the shift lever and disconnect the cable end from
the lever.
3. Remove the retaining ring

and slide the shift lever

off the mounting bracket and out from the frame.
4. Remove both bushings

from the shift lever and
service as needed.
Shift Lever Installation
Perform the removal steps in reverse order to install the
gear shift lever (lever, cable, console, shift knob).
TRANSMISSION
