Status Module
For RFL IMUX 2000 Intelligent T1/E1 Multiplexers
DESCRIPTION
The RFL Status Module is designed for use in IMUX 2000 T1/E1 Terminal or Drop/Insert
Multiplexers. The Status Module can be configured to be a 16 point transmitter, a 16 point
receiver or an 8 point transceiver. Since each configuration requires a different module
adapter, the Status Module is not remotely changeable; however, control and status
information is remotely readable through the SCB or Network Management Software. In
addition to this, Status Module parameters can be configured remotely via the SCB.
Six different Module Adapters are available to cover all possible combinations of inputs and
outputs. The inputs are opto-isolated and the outputs are relays. For normal operation each
end must have a different module adapter.
The following Status Module parameters can be configured remotely via the SCB:
o Rx timeslot o Scan speed - 10ms/100ms
o Tx timeslot o I/O type - Input/Output
o Bus direction o System type - T1/E1
o Rx address o Output polarity - Normal/Inverted
o Tx address
