IMUX 2000
Alarm Configuration Module Interface for
Motherboard to Power Supply I/O.
INTRODUCTION.
There may be a situation where an IMUX Chassis does not have a Power Supply
installed, such as where a DACS chassis shares a power supply with a multiplexer; or
multiple multiplexers share a common power supply. In this application an Alarm
Configuration Module (Part No.105765-2) MUST be installed in the empty power
supply slot.
OVERVIEW.
The Alarm Configuration Module will provide the interface between the IMUX 2000
Motherboard and the Power Supply I/O. The Alarm Configuration Module will rout the
signals from the Motherboard to the Power Supply I/O necessary to drive the
Alert/Alarm contacts correctly. See the following page for Jumper Settings.
