There are two failure situations that can occur:
A. An internal system failure as detected by the Common Module.
B. A loss of signal condition (TPU).
Jumpers J1 and J2 configure the module as follows:

Alarm/Alert relays on. (default). I/O is driven by failure conditions
in
ternal to the system, as detected by the Common Module.
J1 Normal
J2 TPU-Alarm
As above; but additional alarm contacts are driven by the TPU (loss of

gnal condition).
J1 TPU-Alert
