Adapting the characteristic of the analog input
You must define your own characteristic if none of the default types match your particular
application.
The inverter should convert a 6 mA … 12 mA signal into the value range -100% … 100% via
analog input 0. The wire break monitoring of the inverter should respond when 6 mA is fallen
below.
You have set analog input 0 as a current input ("I") via the DIP switch on the
Control Unit.
Proceed as follows to set the analog input as a current input with monitoring:
Go online.
Select the "Analog inputs" tab on the
"Inputs/outputs" screen form in the inverter.
Set analog input 0 to "Unipolar current input
monitored (+4 mA ... +20 mA)".
Open the "Scaling" window of analog input 0.
Set the lower percentage value (y1) to -100% and
the upper value (y2) to 100%.
Set the lower current value (x1) to 6 mA and the
upper value (x2) to 12 mA.
Go into the "PARAMS" menu.
Select "EXPERT" as a parameter filter.
Set p7056[0] = 3
This defines analog input 0 as a current input with
wire-break monitoring.
Set p0757[0] = 6.0 (x1)
Set p0758[0] = -100.0 (y1)
Set p0759[0] = 12.0 (x2)
Set p0760[0] = 100.0 (y2)
You have adapted the characteristic of the analog input to match the example.
