Saving settings on a PC
Precondition
With the supply voltage switched on,
you can transfer the inverter settings
from the inverter to a PG/PC, or the
data from a PG/PC to the inverter.
This
requires you to have installed the
STARTER commissioning tool on your
PG/PC.
You will find additional information about STARTER in Section
Tools to commission the
converter (Page 39).

Procedure
To back up the settings, proceed as follows:
1. Go online with STARTER :

2. Select the button "Download project to PG":

3. To save the data in the PG, select the button:

4. Go offline with STARTER :

You have backed up the settings.

To transfer the settings, proceed as follows:
1. Go online with STARTER :

2. Select the button "Download project to target system":

3. To save the data in the inverter, select the "Copy RAM to ROM" button:
