The function of the overload warning device is
checked as follows:
â–º
connect any load as listed in the table of
carrying capacity, but with the smallest
possible reach;
â–º
lift the load approx. 30 cm off the ground;
â–º
increase the reach, always keeping the
load close to the ground, until the warning
signal sounds on reaching the limit condi-
tion;
â–º
check to make certain the achieved reach
tallies with the value listed in the table of
carrying capacity for the corresponding
load in this test run. If it does not, abort the
check and have the machine restored to
correct and proper operation by a specialist
workshop.
