The system will log all program actions in the selected logging directory. All log entries
will have the logged in user ID and time and date. The entries in the log are software
dependant, but usually include all operational steps in either detail or abbreviated form.
b. Usage of program monitoring
This feature is a form of automated revision control software. As users change, create
delete or rename files in the monitored paths, a revision database is created in the
logging root. Files that have been changed or deleted can be retrieved from this logging
location if the user so desires, by using windows explorer.

11.2.5 OS Requirements
The minimum OS that the FSMLS supports is windows XP professional. Other
supported platforms are Windows 2003, and Windows 7.
Included on the disk is service pack 2 for windows XP (required if you have XP).
Included on the disk is Windows Installer 3.1 which is required.
Included on the disk is .net framework 2.0 which is required.
The installer will attempt to download some missing components but it may not be able
to determine which are missing. If this is the case, you can manually install them.
On the install disk in \MS there is:
Dotnetfx.exe “.Net framework 2.0”
WindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86.exe “Windows Installer 3.1”
Windows XP-KB835935-SP2-ENU.exe “Windows XP service pack 2”
These are all English language versions. For other languages, all of these products can
be downloaded from Windows update http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ .
