1.2 Major Changes to the Quadra 4 Command Software
1.2.1 Drag and Drop Operations
When adding labware to a Shuttle Position it is no longer necessary to Drag the labware
item and Drop it onto a Shuttle position. Instead simply click the desired Shuttle
Position and then click the Labware Item(s) to be placed there.
1.2.2 Simplified Dialogs
All of the Dialogs which involve Aspirating or Dispensing have been significantly
modified.
For example, here is a sample Dialog for adding an Aspirate from the 4.7.x Command
Software
In Version 4.8 Software, the settings are now separated into three Tabs, “Basic
Settings”, “Advanced Settings” and “Stage Operations” as shown below.
