1.0 Introduction
1.1 What's New
The Quadra 4 Command Software contains several enhancements and improvements
over previous versions of the software.
Version 4.8.0
The Quadra Command Software now runs on a Windows® 7 platform.
The Drag and Drop operations have been changed to simple point and Click
operations.
Aspirate, Dispense and similar functions have simplified Dialogs.
The Labware names which are assigned to Shuttle locations, are now displayed
on the screen.
All of the Labware and Program Functions Icons can now be displayed as Text
messages, Icons or both.
The Labware and Program Functions which are not valid for the currently
highlighted shuttle location can be displayed as disabled buttons, or not at all.
This makes it more straight forward as to which functions can be used in certain
situations.
Version 4.7.7.30
The number of Tip Loads is now displayed on the main screen.
Version 4.7.7.29
The ability to validate the processing of mirror racks which have been processed
with the Tomtec PSID2 software.
Most of these changes are discussed in the next sections.
