The following settings are automatically changed as shown below.
3 Set the target.
Set the near-point card at 33cm.
From the near-point card, set the target that meets the maximum near-point visual acuity
of the patient manually.
4 Measure the "Blur" point.
Have the patient view the target. Instruct the patient to respond whenever he/she sees
the blurred target once the test is started. Using the indicated button, operate the mouse
navigation slowly by one click.
When the patient says "I see the blurred target", stop the mouse operation.
5 Record the result for the "Blur" point.
Click the [Blurred (-)] button to record the result.
The value displayed in "ADD" shows the adjustment needed to compensate for "Blur".
When the patient sees the target set at 33cm, the adjustment of 3.00D is required. The
value to be recorded is the value obtained by adding 3.00D to the value, which is dis-
played in "ADD", with the reversed sign.
6 Measure the "Recovery" point.
Instruct the patient to respond whenever he/she sees the target clearly again. Using the
indicated button, operate the mouse navigation slowly by one click.
