4. GENERAL OPTOMETRY PROCEDURE
REFRACTIVE POWER MEASUREMENT USING ASTIGMATISM
TEST CHART
Clear the cylinder power and set only the spherical power in advance.
(1) Astigmatism chart test (Cylinder axis/Cylinder power) ....Refer to P.68.
(2) Checking the spherical power: R/G test .........................Refer to P.66.
(3) Checking the corrected visual acuity ..............................Refer to P.65.
(4) Binocular balance test .................................................... Refer to P.75, P.76 and P.78.
(5) Checking prescription visual acuity/prescription power ..Refer to P.137.
4.3 NEAR-POINT REFRACTIVE POWER MEASUREMENT
