5. OPERATION FOR TESTS
5.2.5 VERTICAL PHORIA MEASUREMENT (PRISM SEPARA-
TION)
Measure vertical phoria of the patient by using the chart where characters are arranged on one
horizontal line.
1 Select the chart where characters are arranged on one horizontal line.
To perform the vertical phoria measurement (prism separation), select the icon of the
chart where characters are arranged on one horizontal line on the chart page.
If this icon does not exist on the chart page, click the [Examination list] button to display
"Examination list".
Click the [Prism] tab and select "[F] Vertical Phoria (Von Graefe) [#12A]" from "Exam
list".

The chart where the characters are arranged on one horizontal line or the visual acuity
chart to which the horizontal mask is applied is set.
In near-point test, set a proper target from the near-point card targets manually.
