5. OPERATION FOR TESTS
5.3.3 Vertical vergence
Measure the vertical vergence of the patient. The result of the test is recorded by pressing the
function buttons.
1 Prepare for the test.
This test must be executed in the condition that refractive error has been completely cor-
rected. If refractive error is not corrected yet, correct it before this test.
2 Select "[F] Vertical Prism to Break and Recover [#12B]" from "Examination list".
To perform this test, specify the test name from the "Examination list".
Click the [Examination list] button to display "Examination list".
Clink the [Bino] tab and then select "[F] Vertical Prism to Break and Recover [#12B]"
from the list.
To perform the near-point test, select the test chart icon shown below.

In far-point test, the chart where the characters are arranged on one horizontal line or
the visual acuity chart to which the horizontal mask is applied is set.
In near-point test, set a proper target from the near-point card targets manually.
