8. SETTING
Serial configuration
Set the devices that will be connected to the serial port on the personal computer connected
with the CV system and their application.
Set "Connection 1" to "Connection 4".
The quantity of the settable connection destination is changed according to the number of
serial ports on the personal computer.
Refer to the instruction manual of your personal computer for the serial ports.

Set the port to which a peripheral device is connected.

Select the baudrate from the following items.
• 2400bps
• 9600bps
Not in use When any device is not connected, select this item.
[In] RM/CL data receive When connecting RM or CL through the serial method, select
this item.
[Out] RM/CL data trans-
fer
When transferring the RM/CL data to other CV systems con-
nected through the serial method, select this item.
[I/O] Database connec-
tion
When connecting an external personal computer database
software, select this item.
