5. OPERATION FOR TESTS
The following items are automatically changed as shown below.
3 Measure the cylinder axis.
Click the [Cross cylinder: Reverse] button on the control
window. Have the patient answer which frame he/she can
see the chart better, on the red or green side.
When the chart is seen better with the green frame, click
the "G" button for the mouse navigation. When the chart is
seen better with the red frame, click the "R" button.
Make adjustments until the patient sees the chart almost
equally with both red and green frames.
4 Measure the cylinder power.
After measuring the cylinder axis, proceed to the cylinder power measurement.
To proceed to this measurement, click the [Power/Axis] button on the control window.
The procedure is the same as the cylinder axis measurement. Make adjustments until
the patient sees the chart almost equally through the CC lens having red or green frame.
Click the [Power/Axis] button. The system returns to the cylinder axis measurement
mode.
Item Description
Test eye
When any other item except "binocular" is the last test object,
the status of last test is succeeded. When "binocular" are the
last test object, the right eye of the patient is selected.
Auxiliary lens
The Jackson cross cylinder lens is
selected for the eye being tested.
The green and red frames around the
lens indicate the front and rear of the
cross cylinder.
Mouse operation

The mode to operate the cylinder axis is set.
