Troubleshooting
In general, as long as you follow the maintenance and safety
instructions provided in this manual, you should have few
problems with your HiPer+. This chapter will help you diagnose
and solve some common problems you may encounter with your
HiPer+ receiver.
Before contacting TPS Customer support about any problems
with the receiver, try the following:
• Reset the receiver using PC-CDU (click Tools->Reset
receiver).
• Restore factory default settings using PC-CDU (click
Configuration->Receiver, then Set all parameters to
defaults).
• Clear the NVRAM (see “Clearing the NVRAM” on
page 4-18).
• Initialize the file system (click Tools->Initialize file system;
this will erase all files inside the receiver).
WARNING
Do not attempt to repair equipment
yourself. Doing so will void your warranty
and may damage the hardware.
