10.3 Remove the screw plug (not shown) from the check bore (004).
10.4 Install fully the gauge (001) into the check bore (004).
10.5 Remove the spacer (003).
10.6 Make sure the toothed rack (002) cannot move. If the toothed rack cannot move,
the pump plunger is correctly installed.
10.7 Remove the gauge (001).
10.8 Put copper paste on the thread of the screw plug.
10.9 Install the screw plug to the check bore (004).
10.10 Put oil on the new O-ring (010).
10.11 Put the new O-ring (010) on the guide piston (008).
10.12 Put grease on the snap ring (009).
10.13 Attach the snap ring (009) to the guide piston (008).
10.14 Lubricate the pump plunger with oil.
10.15 Install the bush (011), pressure discs (012) and the roller (007) to the guide
piston (008).
10.16 Install the pin (006) and the circlip (005).
10.17 Put the guide piston (008) in the housing.
10.18 Do a check of the axial clearances.
10.19 Attach the two eye bolts to the guide piston (008).
10.20 Attach the applicable lifting tools to the eye bolts.
10.21 Operate the applicable lifting tools to put the guide piston (008) into the housing.
Make sure that the groove is opposite the bore for the guide pin (013).
10.22 Remove the eye bolts.
10.23 Attach the spindle press (015) as shown.
10.24 Turn the handle of the spindle press (003) to push down the roller (007) and
guide piston (008) until you can install the guide pin (013). If the guide pin
touches the guide groove, turn the pressure piece to align the guide pin.
10.25 Remove the spindle press (015)
10.26 Make sure that the toothed rack (002) can move.
10.27 Apply oil to the two O-rings (018).
10.28 Put new O-rings (018) on the bottom housing (017).
