PROCEDURE

1 Prepare the scavenge air cooler (SAC) for removal.

NOTE: Related to the engine you first have to remove the adjacent SAC to make free

the way. All pictures are examples.

1.1 Close the shut-off valves (007, Figure 11-14).

1.2 Open the vent valve (001).

1.3 Use the drain valve (004) to drain the water from the SAC (005).

1.4 Remove the attached pipes (002, 006) as necessary.
