PROCEDURE
1 Stop the SCR system (refer to the Operation Manual).
NOTE: The procedure that follows shows the installation of one of the SCR valves.
The procedures for the other SCR valves are the same.
2 Install the lifting tool to the SCR valve with the screws.
3 Torque the screws to 170 Nm.
4 If necessary, adjust the position of the lug in steps of 15°.
5 Attach the lifting tool to the engine room crane.
6 Put the gasket in position.
7 Carefully operate the engine room crane to put the SCR valve in position.
8 Attach the screws to the SCR valve on the engine side.
9 Make sure that the gasket is correctly installed.
10 Tighten the screws to the SCR valve on the engine side.
11 Remove the lifting tool from the SCR valve and from the engine room crane.
12 Put an applicable sling in position on the connection pipe.
13 Attach the sling to the hook of the engine room crane.
14 Put the gasket in position.
15 Carefully operate the engine room crane to put the connection pipe in position.
16 Attach the screws to the SCR valve on the SCR system side.
17 Make sure that the gasket is correctly installed.
18 Tighten the screws to the SCR valve on the SCR system side.
19 Attach the screws and hexagon nuts to the flanges.
20 Tighten the screws.
21 Remove the sling from the connection pipe.
22 Install the transmitters.
23 Connect the electrical connections to the transmitters.
24 Make sure that the SCR valve can move freely (refer to the documentation of the valve
supplier).
25 Start the automatic valve movement procedure to make sure that the SCR valve
operates correctly (refer to the Operation Manual).
