6 Fitting the flat belt.

a Lift up the belt to the middle (centre) of the
spindle pulley.
c Tighten the two upper screws.
d Tighten all motor attachment screws.
b Fit the flat belt to the motor belt pulley.

Do not turn the spindle until the
motor is tightened properly to the
frame.

For correct position,
centre the belt on the
spindle pulley camber.
Clearance

E
Clean the inside of the frame before fitting
the flat belt, and make sure that there is no
oil on the belt.
