show shh authmode
Purpose Used to display the SSH authentication mode setting.
Syntax show ssh authmode
Description This command will allow you to display the current SSH authentication set on the Switch.
Parameters None.
Restrictions None.
Example usage:
To view the current authentication mode set on the Switch:

config shh server
Purpose Used to configure the SSH server.
Syntax config ssh server {maxsession <int 1-3> | contimeout <sec 120-600> | authfail <int 2-20>
| rekey [10min | 30min | 60min | never] | port <tcp_port_number 1-65535>}
Description This command allows you to configure the SSH server.
Parameters maxsession <int 1-3> – Allows the user to set the number of users that may simultaneously access the Switch.
The default is 3.
contimeout <sec 120-600> – Allows the user to set the connection timeout.The user may set a time between
120 and 600 seconds.The default is 120 seconds.
rekey [10min | 30min | 60min | never] – Sets the time period that the Switch will change the security shell
encryptions.
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To configure the SSH server:
AT-9724TS:4# config ssh server maxsession 2 timeout 300
authfail 2
Command: config ssh server maxsession 2 timeout 300
