Troubleshooting tips: Verify whether the configuration adhere to the conditions specified in
problem description.
Configuring CBQ fails on a Class-map mapped to interfaces
Symptom: An Error message will be thrown when CBQ is configured at policy-map level.
Problem
description: If configuring CBQ parameters fail for a policy-map, which is mapped to
one or more interfaces then the following can be the reasons:
Actual CR or PR value (not the percentage) for the interface should not be less than 1
Kbps. Example: CR percent of 1 for an interface with bandwidth of 9 Kbps will result in
CR value of 0.9 Kbps.
Buffers are not available for a particular interfaces. Buffers are allocated to interfaces
based on the interface bandwidth. The CBQ configuration should not exceed the allocated
buffers.
Prerequisite: Policy-map should be successfully created and mapped to interfaces.
