<pattern C> POD Deck Lite C/XL installed first + Out of Range
1. The deviation amount confirmed in step 4 is added to the values displayed in the following service modes. Adjust the
value by moving Multi-purpose Tray upper.
COPIER > ADJUST > FEED-ADJ > MD-CENT
(0.1 mm per increment)
NOTE:
Example: If the value for MD-CENT is "-15" and the value found in step 4 is offset from Rear Side by + 0.5 mm.
Since (-15) + (+5) = -10, the position on the Multi-purpose Tray upper is moved in the front direction by 1.0 mm.
+ : When shift to the rear direction on the Multi-purpose Tray upper
- : When shift to the front direction on the Multi-purpose Tray upper
2. Execute the following service mode again, open the Multi Door Unit, and check the stop position of paper.
COPIER > FUNCTION > CST > MD-MF-RG
3. Remove the stopped paper and close the Multi Door Unit.
4. After adjustment, finish the installation.
("Image Position Adjustment" is not necessary since it was confirmed/adjusted at the time of installation of POD Deck
Lite C/XL.)
● Adjustment of Reference Position with Host Machine (Checking the Left Edge Margin)
NOTE:
• If the POD Deck Lite C/XL was previously installed in Multi-drawer Paper Deck, this procedure is not necessary
because it was already checked and adjusted when the POD Deck Lite C/XL was installed.
• If the POD Deck Lite C/XL is not installed in Host machine or Multi-drawer Paper Deck, perform this procedure.
1. Place paper to the Multi-purpose Tray Pickup Tray.
NOTE:
When installed to the Multi-drawer Paper Deck, use following paper.
• Plain paper: 80 to 105.9 g/m

2. After setting the service modes as follows, press the Start key and output a test print.
COPIER > TEST > PG > TYPE = 5
COPIER > TEST > PG > COLOR-M = 1
COPIER > TEST > PG > COLOR-Y/C/Bk = 0
COPIER > TEST > PG > PG-PICK = 5
3. Make sure that the following service mode value is within the range of +/- 10.
COPIER > DISPLAY > CST-STS > REG-L-MF
• Display range: -100 to 100 (0.1 mm per increment)
• If the value is "+": The paper is displaced to the front with respect to the feed direction.
• If the value is "-": The paper is displaced to the rear with respect to the feed direction.
NOTE:
• When the value is within the range of +/- 10, exit the service mode.
• When the value is not within the range of +/- 10, execute “Adjustment Procedure” on page 198.
