9. Tear open the sponge seal around the inlet/outlet
coolant pipes and remove the retaining screws (1).
NOTE: The sponge seal around the heater shield
must be replaced when servicing the heater core.
The seal is not reusable.
10. Pry the clips off and remove the air conditioner
cover plate assembly.
11. Remove the heater core.
12. Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
Installation Notes:
• Verify the cooling system is filled to proper specifications.
