6 Start-up and login
6.1 Start-up
Proceed as follows to start the recorder.
Ø Connect the recorder and the relevant peripherals to the power supply.
Ø Switch on the monitor.
Ø Switch on the relevant peripherals.
Ø Switch the recorder on by connecting it to the power supply.
During the booting process, a background picture with a progress bar will be displayed.
No action or entries are required by the user.
After the booting process has been completed, the recorder is in sequencer/live mode.
Depending on the conguration of the splitter, the live pictures from the connected ca-
meras may be shown in a specic split type.

Before you can congure it you have to log into the recorder.
6.2 Login variants
The type of login depends on the current conguration of the recorder.
6.2.1 Logininbasicconguration
No users or user groups are dened in the basic conguration.
A login without a password is possible for conguration purposes. The rights of the Ad-
ministrator user group are valid for this purpose.
Ø Left-click into a split.
