Spanning Tree Protocols
The Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP) is a Layer 2 protocol which ensures a loop free topology
on a switched or bridged LAN whilst allowing redundant physical links between switches. When
enabled, the TransPort device uses RSTP but this is backwards compatible with STP.
RSTP will not be enabled if the router is in Port Isolate mode. If an Ethernet interface is configured
with a hub group, RSTP will be disabled on that interface.
Enable RSTP
Enables RSTP on the router.
Priority
The RSTP priority.
Group
The RSTP group that the router is in.
