About DHCP servers
Digi routers incorporate one or more Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) servers, one for
each Ethernet port. DHCP is a standard Internet protocol that allows a DHCP server to dynamically
distribute IP addressing and configuration information to network clients.
The Configuration > Network > DHCP server pages in the web interface include a web page for
configuring each of the DHCP servers. Additionally, there is a separate page for mapping MAC
addresses to fixed IP addresses.
