Advanced TACACS+ security settings
The parameters described in this section should not normally need to be adjusted.
Use source IP Address x,y
If required, due to the TACACS+ server being accessed via a VPN tunnel, an alternative source
interface and instance may be selected here. Select the required interface from the drop-down
list and enter the instance of that interface into the adjacent text box. The available interface
options are
• Auto
• PPP
• Ethernet
Response Timeout s seconds

Stop the negotiation if there is no activity for s seconds
The amount of time (in seconds) before an inactive socket is closed.
