Preparation before driving
Remote controller
The buttons on the key function as follows:
Lock button - door lock, remote window
lifting*, car finding*, and parked-out vehicle
moving forward*;
Unlock button - door unlock, remote
window lowering*, and parked-out vehicle
moving backward*;
Trunk lid button - trunk lid unlock
request*, trunk lid unlocking and opening*, trunk
lid closing and locking*;
Car finding/remote parking button* - car
finding mode*, automatic parking mode*, and
vehicle park-in mode*;
Remote start/shutdown button* - remote
engine start*, remote engine shutdown*, exit of
automatic parking mode*.
The remote controller is a sensitive control
device. Do not fiddle with it lest the doors
might be unlocked unexpectedly and the
device might fail.
Remote door unlocking
1. Press the unlocking button ;
2. The hazard warning lamp will flash twice;
3. All doors will be unlocked;
4. Pull the door outside handle to open the door.
After remote door unlocking, if no door is opened
within 30 s, the doors will all be locked again
automatically.
Remote door locking
1. Turn the ENGINE START/STOP button to
“OFF” position;
2. Close all doors (including the trunk lid);
3. Press the lock button on the smart key;
4. The hazard warning lamp will flash once;
5. All doors will be locked;
After remote door locking, be sure to pull the
door outside handle to verify that the doors
are locked securely.
Remote vehicle locating
With the vehicle locked, this function can be
activated by pressing the lock button on
the smart key twice continuously within 3
seconds (with the interval more than 100ms). At
this time, the hazard warning lamp flashes for 15
seconds and the horn sounds*, which is
convenient for quickly locating the vehicle.
For some models, the car finding function can
also be activated by pressing the car
finding/remote parking button* .
Remote unlocking/locking of trunk lid*
● Within the effective remote control range,
press the unlock button on the remote
controller to activate the unlock request of the
trunk lid, and press the request switch in the
middle of the lower edge of the trunk lid, so
the trunk lid will automatically open for
vehicles with power trunk lid; or the trunk lid
needs to be pulled up for opening for other
vehicles.
