Motor fault warning lamp*
When the motor is faulty, this lamp will come on.
If this lamp comes on during the driving process
of the vehicle, it indicates that the motor has any
fault. In this case, contact an authorized dealer
for inspection as soon as possible.
System fault warning lamp*
With the ENGINE START/STOP button in the
“ON” position, if this lamp comes on briefly and
then goes out, it indicates that power system
works normally.
Occurrence of any of the following cases
indicates a fault in the component monitored by
this indicator system:
● When the ENGINE START/STOP button is in
the “ON” position, this lamp stays off or stays
on.
● During driving, if this lamp is on and the
READY indicator lamp is off, the vehicle
cannot be driven.
In this case, stop the vehicle immediately with
driving safety ensured, and contact an
authorized dealer for inspection.
EPS fault warning lamp
When the ENGINE START/STOP button is set
to “ON” position, the EPS (electric power
steering system) fault warning lamp will come
on. The EPS fault warning lamp will go out after
the engine is started. This indicates that the EPS
works normally.
If the EPS fault warning lamp comes on when
the engine is running, the EPS may function
abnormally and need repair. Please go to the
authorized dealer for EPS check.
If the EPS fault warning lamp comes on when
the engine is running, the EPS may be
inoperative, but your vehicle is still under control.
In this case, operating steering wheel requires a
larger force, especially during a sharp turn and
at a low speed (see page for details).
Oil pressure warning lamp
When the ENGINE START/STOP button is in
“ON” position, the engine oil pressure warning
lamp will come on.
The engine oil pressure warning lamp will go out
after the engine is started. This indicates that the
oil pressure sensor in the engine works normally.
If the engine oil pressure warning lamp comes
on or flashes when the engine is running, it
indicates a low engine oil pressure. Stop the
vehicle safely as quickly as possible. Shut down
the engine immediately and contact the
authorized dealer.
● The engine will be seriously damaged if it
is allowed to continue running when the
engine oil pressure warning lamp comes
on.
● The engine oil pressure warning lamp
itself cannot indicate a low oil level.
Please check the oil level with an oil
dipstick (see page 245 for details).
