Use of function
The ALC can be enabled and used by the
following operations:
1. Select ALC through “CarCenter” –“Driving
assistance” – “ICA” on the MP5 display.
2. Press the left button on the steering
wheel to enable the ALC, so the ICA indicator
lamp (gray) on the instrument cluster will
go on, the ALC status indicator lamp (gray)
will go on, and gray lane markings will be
displayed at the center or on right side of the
instrument cluster.
3. After the ALC is activated, when the lane
change conditions are preliminarily met, the ALC
status indicator lamp (green) is on for
about 1s.
4. When the turn signal lamp is turned on, the
vehicle will wait for 1s before changing lanes. If
lane change failure is caused by lane markings
or a risk of collision in the target lane when the
turn signal lamp is just turned on, the system will
wait for a certain period of time, during which if
the lane change conditions are met, the vehicle
will continue to change lanes.
If there is a dangerous situation (unclear lane
markings or deceleration of a vehicle
approaching behind/vehicle ahead, etc.) during
lane changes, the vehicle will choose to return to
the original lane or complete the lane change
according to the position of the current lane.
Function status description
If ALC is selected through MP5 and ICA is
activated, when the system has no fault and the
lane markings on both sides are clear, the ICA
indicator lamp (green) on the instrument
cluster will go on, and the ALC status indicator
lamp (gray) will go on (if the lane change
conditions are not met preliminarily) or the ALC
status indicator lamp (green) will go on (if
the lane change conditions on one side or on
both sides are met) and the lane markings will
be highlighted in blue.
When the activation conditions are met and the
ALC is enabled without inhibiting conditions, if no
turn signal lamps are turned on and the set
cruising speed of the ego vehicle is more than
10km/h higher than the speed of the lead vehicle
for a period of time, the system will remind the
driver to change lanes leftwards, and the
instrument cluster will display a blue arrow and
give a text prompt of “Please confirm lane
change”.
When the activation conditions are met and the
ALC is enabled without inhibiting conditions, if
the lane change conditions are not met after the
turn signal lamp is turned on, the system will
display a red arrow and give a text prompt and
an audible alarm.
Function failure
When the vehicle is running normally, if the ALC
fault warning lamp (red) on the instrument
cluster goes on, it means that the ALC is faulty.
At this time, the ALC fails, and the LKA still
maintains control of the vehicle.
If the ALC fault warning lamp goes on, please
contact the authorized dealer for inspection as
soon as possible.
