Function deactivation cases
The LCW function cannot be triggered under the
following circumstances:
● Stationary objects (such as parked vehicles,
obstacles, street lights, street signs,
guardrails, walls, signs, etc.).
● Vehicles that are traveling in the opposite
direction to the ego vehicle.
● The vehicles are traveling on winding roads
or making sharp turns.
● When a long vehicle (such as a truck, bus,
etc.) overtakes (or is being overtaken by) the
ego vehicle, part of the long vehicle is in the
rear blind spot, while the other part is in the
driver's front view.
● The vehicles ahead and behind cannot be
properly monitored in heavy traffic.
Function limitations
During driving along the road boundary (such as
metal guardrail, fence, isolation strip and grass),
the system may have false/neglected alarms.
Function failure
If one or more of the millimeter wave radar
sensors located inside the rear bumper work
abnormally, the LCW function will fail and not
work normally. At this time, the lower left corner
of the omni-directional early warning assist
indicator lamp on the instrument cluster lights up
in orange( , or ) . Please go to the
authorized dealer for inspection in time.
