Preparation before driving
Opening by in-car trunk lid switch*
When the vehicle is stationary and the doors are
unlocked, press and hold the trunk lid switch on
the left side of the instrument panel (≥ 0.5
seconds), so the power trunk lid will
automatically open to the set position after the
buzzer makes a beep; during trunk lid opening, if
the switch is pressed again, the power trunk lid
will stop opening.
If the vehicle is driving with the trunk lid open,
be sure to observe the following precautions:
● Drive with extreme caution. All items must
be securely placed in the trunk, and
emergency braking and sharp turn should
be avoided as much as possible;
otherwise the items inside the trunk may
be thrown, or the trunk lid may be prone
to damage due to dramatic movement.
● Clearly mark the loaded items extending
out of the trunk to attract the attention of
other vehicle drivers. Otherwise,
accidents may easily occur. At the same
time, be sure to strictly abide by relevant
local traffic regulations.
Opening by AR projection*
When the AR projection function is turned on
(set in the MP5 system) and the vehicle power
supply is in “OFF” position, carry the smart key,
stand close to the trunk lid, and step on the
projection, so the trunk lid will automatically
open.
Opening by emergency mode
1. Fold the seat back on one side (see page for
details of the folding steps of rear seats);
2. Enter the trunk from inside the vehicle and
open the trunk lid lock block trim cover ①;
3. Move the lock body block ② to the rightmost
(in the arrowed direction) to unlock the trunk lid;
4. Push outward and open the trunk lid.
