Preparation before driving
Manually closing the trunk lid
Check the area where the trunk lid is closed for
obstacles or other body parts.
If there is a lot of luggage, try and close the trunk
lid gently, and check if the luggage is pressed
against the trunk lid; if so, arrange the luggage
properly before closing the trunk lid.
Hold the handle ① on the right side of the trunk
lid, pull the trunk lid down to 3/4 position of the
closing travel, and then press the trunk lid
forward and downward with both hands until it is
locked reliably.
For vehicles with power trunk lid, the manual
closing speed should not be too fast,
otherwise the electric system will be easily
damaged.
Automatically closing the trunk lid*
Check the area where the trunk lid is closed for
obstacles or other body parts. If there is a lot of
luggage, check that no luggage is pressed
against the trunk lid. Otherwise, the luggage
shall be arranged properly before the trunk lid is
closed.
Press the close button ① on the left side of the
trunk lid, so the power trunk lid will automatically
lower until it is closed; during closing, press this
button again, so the power trunk lid will stop
closing.
Closing with remote controller
Press and hold the trunk lid unlock button
on the remote controller (≥ 1 second), so the
power trunk lid will automatically close after the
buzzer makes a beep, and at this time, the
hazard warning lamp will flash twice; during
closing, if the button is pressed again, the power
trunk lid will stop closing.
After the power trunk lid is opened, if you
carry the smart key 2 meters away from the
vehicle, the trunk lid may automatically close.
Please make sure that there are no people or
articles in the closing area of the trunk lid, for
fear of personal injury and article damage.
