Inspecting brake fluid level
Observe the scales in the brake fluid reservoir.
“MAX”: upper limit
“MIN”: lower limit
The brake fluid level shall be between MAX and
the level 4 mm below MAX.
If the fluid level drops significantly in a short
period of time, it indicates that leakage occurred
in the brake system. In this case, please contact
the authorized dealer to overhaul the brake
system as soon as possible.
Adding brake fluid
If the brake fluid level is below MIN, the brake
fluid must be added in time.
● Neither mix brake fluids of different
brands or grades, nor use the used brake
fluid to avoid reducing the braking
efficiency and causing the brake system
to fail.
● The brake fluid level must not be above
“MAX” to avoid paint corrosion, part
contamination, or even a fire.
For the technical requirements and
reasonable change interval of brake fluid,
please refer to the provisions in the “First
maintenance and scheduled maintenance
item table” in the chapter “Maintenance” in
this manual.
Changing brake fluid
To ensure proper operation of the brake system,
change the brake fluid regularly according to the
“First maintenance and scheduled maintenance
item table” in the chapter “Maintenance” in this
manual. Changing shall be done by the
authorized dealer.
● Failure to change the brake fluid
according to the specified time may cause
the brake system to fail and cause a
serious accident.
● If the brake fluid level is below MIN, do
not drive the vehicle to avoid an accident.
● If the brake fluid remains in the hydraulic
system for many years, the brake fluid will
also deteriorate. In this case, air lock will
be generated in the brake pipe during
braking, which will affect the braking
efficiency and driving safety, and may
even cause the brake system in complete
failure, thus causing an accident.
