Cleaning wiper blade
Any contamination of either the windshield or the
wiper blade will reduce the wiping effect of the
wiper. The main sources of pollution are dust,
silt, insects, sap and water wax used in the
vehicle washing machine. If the wiper involves
dirt, use the high-quality cleaner or mild
detergent to clean the windshield and wiper
blade, then rinse them thoroughly with clean
water. The steps to clean the wiper blade are as
follows:
1. Lift the wiper arm away from the windshield.
2. Grab the wiper arm.
3. Carefully wipe off the dust and dirt on the
wiper blade and the windshield surface with a
soft cloth.
4. After cleaning, gently put the wiper arm back
in place.
● When the windshield is dry or the rainfall
is low, do not use the wiper, otherwise it
may damage the windshield and wiper
blade. It is recommended to spray water
before using it.
● In order to ensure the wiping effect and
the service life of the wiper blade, it is
recommended to clean the windshield
and wiper blade regularly. The wiper
blade shall be gently wiped with a sponge
or a soft cloth to avoid abrasion of the
wiper blade. If the windshield is still not
clean after wiping, please replace the
wiper blade.
● If it is cold, check if the wiper blade is
frozen before turning on the windshield
washer. The windshield washer can only
be turned on when the wiper is not
interfered or obstructed.
● In the event of hot summer or snow and
ice and the vehicle is out of service for a
long time, the wiper arm can be lifted to
slow down the aging of the wiper blade.
Replacing wiper blade
The wiper blade must be inspected regularly and
the damaged wiper blade replaced in time,
otherwise the windshield glass will be scratched.
Wiper blades shall be replaced every half a year.
● Do not apply dry wiping to avoid wear and
damage of the wiper blade and scratching
of the windshield, which will affect the
safety of driving.
● Do not turn on the power supply until the
wiper blade replacement is completed, so
as to avoid sudden action of the wiper
and damage to the windshield and engine
hood.
● Do not open the engine hood before
folding the wiper arm away from the
windshield. Do not fold the wiper arm
back to the windshield if the wiper blade is
not installed to avoid damage to the
windshield and wiper.
