Vertical folding method of front windshield
wiper arm
In the event of replacement of the wiper blade,
cold weather, etc., it is necessary to vertically
fold the front wiper arm by doing the following:
1. Turn the ENGINE START/STOP button from
“ON” to “OFF” (please perform Step 2 within
30s);
2. Move the wiper switch down to have the wiper
arm move and stop at the highest point;
3. Move the wiper switch to any position again to
have the wiper arm remain stationary;
4. Fully lift and vertically fold the wiper arm.
Replacement method of front windshield
wiper blade
1. Place a thick towel at the lower part of the
wiper arm on the windshield to prevent the wiper
arm from accidentally returning back to damage
the windshield, and then vertically fold the wiper
arm completely; (for the operation method, refer

wiper arm” on this page.)
When replacing the front windshield wiper
blade, be sure to stop the wiper arm at the
highest point. Otherwise, the wiper arm
cannot be lifted normally to replace the wiper
blade
2. While pressing the lock button ① on both
sides of the wiper blade, hold the wiper blade
and pull it slightly as arrowed;
3. Replace with a new wiper blade;
4. After the wiper blade is inserted into the wiper
arm mounting slot, if a “click” is heard and the
lock button ① is flush with the wiper arm
surface after popping up from the wiper arm
mounting hole, it means the wiper blade is
installed in place;
5. Check that the wiper blade is locked reliably,
gently put the wiper arm back to the windshield,
and remove the towel;
6. Set the ENGINE START/STOP button to “ON”
position. Then the wiper arm automatically
returns to the lowest point;
7. Lift the wiper switch towards the steering
wheel plane, and spray wash to check whether
the wiper works normally.
