Preparation before driving
Wearing rear middle seat belt
Wearing steps of rear seat belts are as follows:
1. Before sitting in the rear middle seat, first take
out the tongues ① and ② from the tongue
slots at the rear of the roof, pull out the seat belt
from the retractor, align the arrow side of the
tongue with the arrow side of the buckle, and
insert the tongue ① of the seat belt in the
buckle ③.
2. Sit up straight in the seat and make your back
fit the seat back as much as possible. Insert the
tongue ② of the seat belt across the hip bone
into the buckle ④ to lock the seat belt. Hold the
upper and lower sections of the seat belt and
make slight adjustments to make the ride more
comfortable and safe.
3. To unlock the seat belt, press the red button
on the buckle ④ and take off the tongue ②.
Pay attention during use that the latch plate of
rear center seat belt can only be inserted into the
buckle with “CENTER” marking, and if wrongly
paired, the center seat belt will not be well
locked in the buckle.
If the seat belt latch plate is buckled into the buckle
of other seats, the seating position will deviate too
far from the seat belt buckle. In the event of a
collision accident, the seat belt may move up to the
abdomen of the occupant and exert force on the
abdomen instead of the hip bone, causing a serious
injury thereafter.
After use of the seat belt, it should be retracted
into the retractor. The specific operation is as
follows:
Hold the webbing above the tongue, press the
side notch ○
A
of the buckle using the seat belt
tongues on both sides of the rear seat, pull out
the tongues, retract the seat belt into the
retractor, and insert the tongues ① and ② of
the rear middle seat belt into the tongue slots at
the rear of the roof.
