Preparation before driving

Max A/C function
When the A/C is on, turn the temperature control
knob until appears on the A/C display.
If the outside temperature is not lower than 1°C,
the A/C will be adjusted automatically as follows:
1. Air outlets in the panel mode;
2. A/C on;
3. Fan speed control knob in the maximum
position;
4. Recirculation mode;
5. Full cold outlet air.
Maximum heating mode
When the A/C is on, turn the temperature control
knob until appears on the A/C display.
Then the maximum heating mode will be
activated, and the A/C will be adjusted
automatically as follows:
1. A/C off;
2. Air outlets in the floor mode;
3. Fan speed control knob in the 6th position;
4. Fresh air mode;
5. Full hot outlet air.
Heating
1. Press the button, and check that the
indicator lamp on the button goes out.
2. Turn the temperature knob on the control
panel clockwise or touch the temperature up
button on the MP5 display to set a high
temperature. Please set the desired temperature
according to the temperature value shown on the
A/C display.
3. Press the air volume up button . Please
set the desired air volume according to the on
the A/C display.
CAUTION
● If the outside temperature is very low, the
recirculation mode can be activated to
improve the heating efficiency.
● If you need to set the maximum heating,
adjust the temperature and the air volume
to the maximum.
● In case of fogging on the windshield,
please press the front windshield
defogger button, instead of turning on the
heater for defogging when the A/C is off.
A/C refrigerant
The environmental impact of refrigerant added to
the A/C system has been considered thoroughly.
In case of the A/C repair, be sure to use special
refrigerant charger and lubricant. Because the
incompetent refrigerant or lubricant will cause
serious damage to the A/C system. (Refer to
page for details of recommended refrigerants)
CAUTION
Please go to an authorized dealer for the
overhaul of the A/C system.
Air filter
The air filter equipped on the A/C system is used
to remove the dirt, pollen, dust and others.
In order to maintain efficient heating, defogging
and ventilation of the A/C system, please clean
and replace the air filter at the maintenance
interval prescribed in this manual. For
replacement of the air filter, please contact an
authorized dealer.
The air filter shall be replaced when airflow
declines apparently or windows are prone to
fogging up if heater or A/C is applied.
