Wading
If it is required to wade through a waterlogged
road section, please pay attention to the
following:
1. Before wading, correctly estimate or probe the
water depth and hidden dangers of waterlogged
areas. Do not wade through waterlogged areas
with unknown conditions;
2. Set the shift lever to a low position. Avoid
high-speed engine operation;
3. Choose a flat place and drive steadily and
slowly through waterlogged roads at the speed
of walking;
4. During wading, do not stop halfway, nor let the
engine stall;
5. After wading, gently depress the brake pedal
a few times to dry brakes so as to restore
braking force;
6. After wading, remove mud from treads in time.
7. Do not rush through waterlogged areas in an
acceleration way. Otherwise, water waves will
form in front of the vehicle, which may cause
water to enter the air intake of the engine and
lead to serious damage to the engine.
8. Do not open any doors during wading.
Avoid water entering the vehicle.
9. During wading, do not forcibly restart the
engine after it stalls, for fear of irreversible
damage to the engine.
Driving skills in winter
1. When the winter comes, please go to an
authorized dealer for winter protection and
maintenance of the vehicle;
2. Use engine oil, coolant and windshield washer
fluid suitable in low temperature environments;
3. Use snow tires when necessary;
4. It is recommended to carry some necessary
emergency tools such as snow brush and ice
scraper;
5. Do not forcibly open frozen doors, windows or
sunroof nor move frozen windshield wipers; melt
frozen parts with warm water and wipe the water
immediately to prevent freezing again;
6. Remove snow from the air intake under the
windshield if necessary;
7. Check and remove ice and snow that may
accumulate on front and rear windshields,
exterior lamps, roof, chassis, tires or brakes;
8. Remove snow or mud from soles of shoes
before entering the vehicle;
9. Start the engine steadily, accelerate the
vehicle slowly, and keep a safe distance from
the vehicle in front. Avoid rapid acceleration,
emergency braking and sudden turns, and do
not activate the cruise control function.
Driving through tunnels
Human eyes need a period of time to adapt
when the ambient light suddenly darkens or
suddenly brightens. Pay attention to the
following when driving through tunnels:
1. Slow down and keep a safe distance from the
vehicles in front;
2. Carefully observe traffic signs or traffic
information boards;
3. Turn on the headlamps in advance, and do
not use the horn.
