Running-in
Precautions for running-in
In order to prolong the service life of the vehicle,
a new vehicle should be run-in at the initial stage
of use.
1. The running-in shall be 1500km;
2. Select a good road and drive with light loads;
3. Start the engine and perform operation gently,
and keep a moderate vehicle speed not more
than 80% of the maximum speed and a
moderate engine speed. Do not drive at a
constant speed for too long;
4. Do not depress the accelerator pedal to the
end for sudden acceleration;
5. Avoid emergency braking in the first 300km;
6. Strictly follow operating procedures, be careful
during the routine maintenance of the vehicle,
and pay attention to sound and temperature
changes of each assembly during operation.
Be sure to go to an authorized dealer for the first
maintenance to obtain warranty qualifications
immediately after 3 months or 5000km
(whichever comes first).
CAUTION
If the engine or any components of the
transmission system are replaced,
precautions for running-in should be
observed.
Running-in of tires and brake pads
Drive at a moderate speed in the first 500km for
the running-in of new tires.
In the first 300km, new brake pads and brake
discs cannot get the best friction state. Avoid
emergency braking, keep a safe braking
distance, and slowly depress the brake pedal to
achieve the best running-in state.
CAUTION
As new tires and brake pads that have not
been run-in do not achieve the best
adhesion and friction, drive carefully in the
first 500km to prevent accidents.
Running-in is also required after
replacement with new tires and brake
pads.
During driving, keep a safe distance from
other vehicles to prevent emergency
braking. At this time, as new tires and
brake pads have not been run-in, their
adhesion and friction are insufficient,
which is easy to cause traffic accidents.
