Systemic Vascular Resistance Index (SVRI)
Systemic vascular resistance adjusted for body size.
Thermal Filament
Area on the CCO thermodilution catheter that transfers
small amounts of energy into the blood to serve as
indicator for trending cardiac output continuously.
Thermistor
Temperature sensor near the tip of the pulmonary artery
catheter.
Thermodilution (TD)
A variant of the indicator dilution technique using
temperature change as the indicator.

Washout Curve
Indicator dilution curve produced by a bolus injection.
Cardiac output is inversely related to the area under this
curve.
