𝜎 notiications are especially useful while you carry the instrument on your belt because the in-
strument calls for your attention by beeping and lashing upon the sudden increase of the radiation
level.
You can activate the announcements and control the sensitivity (see 6.34, p. 162, 6.35, p. 163).
