EI/DI display field
: When an image is displayed (or is selected in six-image
display mode), the EI and DI (defined in IEC 62494-1: 2008)
are displayed.
The EI and DI can be displayed only for normal images
(except mammography images). They do not appear for
energy subtraction images, long-view images, etc. When an
image is replaced with other one, the values are updated
accordingly.
The EI/DI display field can be repositioned by moving the
□
mark.
Whether the EI/DI display field is displayed or not depends
on the setting made at the time of installation.
NOTES
•
In case that a cassette-type Image Reader is used, the EI
and DI values are displayed properly only when the type
of the IP is ST-VN, ST-VI, or ST-BD.
•
When using the EI and DI values for image quality
management, calibrations of Image Readers should be
carried out periodically.
•
The EI and DI may vary if a wrong exposure menu was
selected.
