This system has been designed as a digital imaging system for use in general, emergency and trauma
radiography.
The system maintains constant alignment between the x-ray tube and detector. The flexibility of the
system makes it ideal for patients in the erect or supine positions, including those in wheelchairs and
those with disabilities.
All system movements are motorized.
IMPORTANT!: Only components that are listed by GE for use with the Definium 5000 should be
connected to and/or used with the system. Non-system software should not be loaded
onto any system computer.
