Anti-collision System
In addition to the light beams that slow down the speed or stop motion when the light beam is cut, this
unit includes an anti-collision system that will stop or reverse movement if the arm assembly collides
with any object.
• When the Arm is moving down or when it rotates, the anti-crushing system will always reverse the
movement to avoid any objects between the detector and the floor (Figure 3-16).

• When the Arm is moving up, the anti-crushing will either reverse the movement or stop movement,
depending on the following situations:
– If the angle is between -30° and 50° (the angle range where the detector could be under the table),
the system will reverse direction down (Figure 3-17).
– If the angle is between 51° to 120° and in horizontal position, the system stops movement
(Figure 3-18).
