Move Lateral Positioning Bars
There are two locks on the back of the lateral positioning bars (Figure A-8): to rotate the bar and to adjust
the vertical placement.

1. Pull the lock lever 90° from its locking position (Figure A-9).

2. Move the lateral positioning bar to the desired height or rotation.
3. Place lock lever back into the locked position (Figure A-8).
Image Pasting Acquisition
Image Pasting is only used in the upright exam position.
Follow this process to conduct an Image Pasting exam.
1. Move the unit into position for an upright exam, if necessary.
2. Place the patient positioner in front of the wall stand and secure the floor locking mechanism. Refer
to Lock Positioner in Place
(p. A-3) for more information.
3. Select the patient from the Worklist (or add patient if necessary).
